Nope, not advertising. It's called DIGG, and is a popular tool for forums utilizing Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and looking to improve their page rank, as we are (one's got to have goals). It allows anyone to further post out a thread or post they find interesting to a worldwide site, which allows more folks the opportunity to see the information, and it not spamming. You do have to sign up, but it is easy from there. It is simply a way to provide more exposure for the site overall, and specifically further avail information to a much larger community. It is a proven tool to build forum communities such as this even more. If you like it, great, use it, if not, just ignore it. Either way, it's all good.

Brad, In my exceedingly expanding knowedge of the PC world and it's terminology dose this mean i could foward a post like the Amber Alert that Jim put up to another site?? I tried to do that but it wouldn't work. I didn't know any other way to do it.

Well, not really. What it does is link the post into the DIGG listings, which is searched by millions of people a day, thereby giving it more exposure on the internet.
