Was back in NJ last weekend and fishing for fluke again. The water wasn't as nice as NE, but we ended up catching 14 keepers up to 9 LBS. I unfortunately did not get the big fish this time. The fish did take a Spro jig though. Sunday, the weather was even nicer than Saturday. The odd thing is that in the morning when we had a perfect drift, the fish did not want to bite at all. We stuck it out in our usual spot and when we lost the drift, the fish started to bite. We ended the day with 14 nice fluke again for only 3 fisherman and my girlfriend, Janaya did not fish much at all. It has truly been a banner year for Fluke, but I am dying to go on a Tuna trip!!
