NY Weakfish report

Fished by Floyd Bennet Field in Jamaica Bay on Saturday 9/30. Lots of weakfish up to 6lbs. Caught on sand worms and artificial worms. Porges and small sea bass kept stealing the bait and with the price worms they became pretty expensive throw backs.

Not much of a Squeteague "fishery" left around here, compared to past years......glad you were able to get into them! I miss targeting them and hammering them! Lot of fun. We pick uop the occasional one while fluking, etc 8)
