Jason Jason Jason

Merry Christmas Jason,

Now, let's cut to the chase and the letters do make a difference. I know we had the haddock minimum size reduced and removed from the combination bag limit opposed with Ammendment 13. I know the letters and folks attending meetings did make a difference in the reduction of herring to be taken next year in area 1A. I know we did not get the EEZ opened to striped bass this year due to the letters written by many and the RFA. YES, letters and attending meetings do make a difference.

Yes, things are screwed up but the only way we will get them restored is by writing letters like our good friends Curt and Brad did. I know it sucks when we write and things don't go our way but we need to do something. Are you going to sit back when the CLF and the tree huggers propose to close Stellwagen or are you going to write away like the rest of us.

I know you have written into the fishery managers and into the Fisherman as your letters have excellent information and contain great points. Please don't let the other side make you give up. You have too many years experience and it is appreciated.

Respectfully,

Dave
