I went up to Rhode Island fluke fishing Sunday and Monday with the Frances Fleet. Sunday we had a decent crowd. I was buck tailing it most of the day and did switch to whole squid for a little and all that got me was short seabass. I didn't do too well only one keeper seabass and I believe it was because I was buck tailing with a new rod that I wasn't used to. I believe my dad was high hook with his limit of fluke. Eben had 3 fluke and 3 seabass. Monday Capt. Don ran the boat and he did a good job. I tried using the new rod again and sucked so I switched to my regular setup and got a seabass and 3 fluke. My dad was doing really well with 9keepers and Eben got his limit of fluke and a seabass. I was a hacker. I think we will be making one more fluke trip on Sunday and giving cod a shot on Monday Sorry for no pictures I had some taken but they did not come out good and you can not make them out. Hopefully I can put up something for next week | ||
