Getting Closer to Splashing

Well, we are hoping to launch this week now. Today, Capt Curt, myself, my sons, Jerry and a few other friends spend the day working on RELENTLESS. We put a new motor in the head, replaced the Sea Dog controls on the lower station. We changed them to Morse which are sweet. Curt worked his tail off sanding and painting the bottom along with Hans and Greg. The bottom is now painted and we will compound and wax in the next few days. After that it is a matter of checking things in engine room, complete a gear oil change, and do a shakedown run. I am getting excited about the opening of cod season now.

Respectfully,

Dave

Thats all nice and well and good, but get to the real facts, how many jars of peppers did it take to get all that work done? The fact that you put all that work in each year is why your one of the best at what you do and all of us customers can reap the rewards.

I arrived with zero peppers and left with two nice jars. Unfortunately they are not both full now if you know what I mean.

2 questions Dave.

1. What day are you gonna try to shakedown? After having my boat ripped apart for a couple months for a variety of projects, I ran her on the hard for about an hour today. I hope to shake her down out of GH Wednesday afternoon to be ready for 4/1. Still trying to coerce Bob Manz into playing hooky.

2. What is the deal with the peppers?
