Sorry for the late report(last friday)We fished with repeat customers Steve and Ian Husak on a shared groundfishing trip, We had some great weather and also some great fishing. We fished east of the bank and tried a few spots ontop. Most of the catch was haddock. We did have a few keeper cod in the mix and alot of shorts that we were able to tag and release.![]() As usual Ian got the big fish of the day A nice codfish around 24 lbs Congrats on a job well done Ian ![]() ![]() The days total was around 55 fish with only 4 anglers. ![]() ![]() Last edited by Captain Curt; 10-27-2007 at 10:43 AM. | Captain Curt, Thanks for the report and great pictures, especially that last one. Question, how often are the tags returned?

Bob and Mags On average we get 2 or 3 back each season but we keep at it .It is nice to see where theses fish go and how big they get average is 2 inches per year on codfish from all the returns I have got back. | ||

| That not bad. What are the chances the same fish gets caught? How far off have the tagged fish been caught? Do you find they get caught in the same area at the same time of year you originally caught them? Would be neat to track them on a chart.
