| Relentless Cod Fishing Report The past three days were great fishing on Stellwagen Bank fishing for cod and haddock. On Thursday we had on board once again Ed Kelley from New jersey with his party of four. The seas were calm and the fishing was good with good numbers of cod and haddock hitting both jigs and bait sending them home with plenty of fillets for the freezer.  On Friday I had Mark Bouteitte aboard from MA along with his dad a young 84 years of age who loves to fish. Each year he comes aboard and gives me some of his custom made jigs for bass which fish very well. The seas were calm and the fishing good with the cod hitting the jigs and teasers along with haddock hitting mostly fresh sea clams.  On Saturday we had the Pat Lynch party aboard with his five friends from Enfield, CT. Pat fished with us last year also and it was great seeing him aboard once again. Catching legal limits of codfish and a dozen haddock by the end of the day the group went home with plenty of fillets for friends and family. These guys did a great job and unfortunately both John our mate and myself were so busy we did not get to take any photos. On Sunday we had to cancel with a great group of anglers scheduled, hopefully we will get them out for either cod fishing or tuna.
