| Nice pics Curt. Thanks. I'll let John post up the full report but we got some nice haddock for the box and also landed a real nice wolfie. On a side note the bait on the bank is out of control. It's gonna be a good tuna season. ![]() Jim that arch does look good but it's gonna look better with a 300lb mako hanging on it this year.

| Nice Wolfie Hoopa, Bait or Jig? For some reason we've always caught them in pairs on the bank. If we get one then shortly after we get a second. Haven't gotten any in the last two years. WTG!!! Nice Job!!

| Alloy, We caught him on bait in 120' of water just north of middlebank. After gaffing him he proceded to knaw his way through his own tail. I was thinking of bringing him home in the livewell and keeping him as a vice clamp in my basement.

Before i post the report. That Triton is Hoops Rig not mine. I just get to fish out of it all the time ![]() ![]() .. Thanks Curt i am glad we got some on the water pics of that arch Jim cuz we will be hanging something from it that will bend it this season.. Now we did spen some time in the morning trolling for tuna. 2 reasons were the reported tuna sightings and we had come new gear that needed to be tested As for the testing it went perfect. We had put together a nice home made center rigger, and it worked SWEET!!! And we also picked up a planner and some hoo from Stew @ The Hook Up and rigged it up to the Penn down rigger. This also worked SWEET so we should be able to get a hoo on an Islander down to 40 45 feet We did not see any tuna action but we know the new tuna gear and rigs all work perfectly. SO Bring on the BFT Now for the report this part is going to be short and sweet We started off the day as mensioned before trolling for tuna with no Action at all but the bait was rediculous. we even snagged 2 8" sandeels while tuna trolling That is how thick it was.. We did talk to and fish along side Capt curt for a while and got a few Haddock and 1 nice wolfie for our trouble. Hoop did most of the dammage on the haddock and our friend chris Tankis that came with us got the wolfie. All i got was sun . All in all it was a beautiful day out there and much cooler then it was on land. We caught a few haddock for the supper table and got the tuna gear all tested and tuned for the season. Thanks Curt for the pics and please send them to Marcustry2@aol.com

| Nice report guys.. Sweet ride Hoop.. I am planning to head out to the bank on Thurs. Anyone else gonna be out there? I'll be on 68/69 - Boat is the Resolution I got out for a few trips in the beginning of April but an oil pa leak put me back on the hard until last week. Sadly I missed most of the groundfish season Back then all the fish were keeping east of the bank. I've been seeing reports of mostly haddock. Are you guys (Dave Curt et al) up on the bank or still running a bit east? Anyone else want to chime in feel free. M | ||

there are still some fish ontop but the gillnets are also there so it is a trade off. can't chance 6 jigs for short fish or a gill net. Will be back out on Friday. | ||
