| RELENTLESS sun 4/27 Fished Sunday with Rich Riendeau and crew from RI. We had big ground swells and almost no drift at all.Fishing was slow and the bunches of groundfish are not very big soo we had to move and find new fish alot.The codfish bite was better than the haddock by 3-1 and we did have our share of shorts.Sorry to report our 1st dogfish.Top rod went to Tom Johnson with a nice cod around 24 lbs.We tagged another 10 cod and one small pollock. Captain Mike on the "Fishunter" and crew worked together with us to try and stay ontop of the fish. Fished ontop and east of the bank in 90-210ft mostly jigs the clams didn't produce. |
