| Stellwagen Bank OK fishing on small cod. It it weren't for the first couple of drifts, we wouldn't have limited out. Save for the first drifts, shorts outnumbered keepers 4-1. Haddock on the east side seems to have slowed - Still decent sized but we only caught 15 fish in two hours out there. Cod were caught in 110-140ft while the haddock were in 200-220ft. Plenty of herring down on the bottom out east. Caught a half dozen dogs as well. Besides a few boats going bye in the morn, did not see hardly anybody out there. WX was good with no wind and a gentle swell coming from the east. |
