Had the privelege of sailing on the AC today with 34 other hearty souls, and the fishing was very good. I used a 17.5 Norewgian to start, then was able to switch to a 14 Lav for the middle portion of the day while the seas were flat and no wind. I used a variety of techniques today, but surprisingly squidding was my most productive method today. I had several occasions where I was struck 4-5 cranks off the bottom, and accounted for my biggest cod of around 25 pounds(never know as I bled the beast, losing the pool by fractions ) Teaser color seemed to matter today as I had no fish on it until mid morning, as I was forced to switch from my go to blue/green fly to a white one, which immediately started getting hit. The 45 pounder landed opposite me in the stern fell to a norwegian, and had 6 flounder in its belly. Nice to see a few larger cod are still out there!

| Sorry to hear about the pool. That always makes it worse losing by like an ounce. Hopefully I can convince my dad or Eben to take a trip up there soon. | ||
