I'm IN!!!

If mother nature cooperates, I will be blasting around in the new boat. Probably will launch out of Sandwich or Green harbor. I hope its FAC, so I can blow by everyone, and quickly mug all the PBs.

Still working on my crew... I fully expect to be there...

If it gets too cold for you guys in those open boats come over and we'll fire up some coffee. ;)

What are people thinking for a plan of attack? NWC, SWC, Middle, and eastern edge or western edge..

AlloyToy,
Not sure about the docks but hoop and i are heading down the cape for stew and rippy's seminar next weekend at the cape codder in and we will make a point to stop over to PH and find out when they expect to drop the docks. In any case we will splash hoops boat in plymouth and hoop will just have to pick me up at the comm. dock behind the restruant.. BTW i like your weather request

Dom. If Plymouth is not for you with out the docks in, I think GH would be a better bet for a run to the bank. With the prices over $3.00 the milage and time saved from GH vs Sandwich i think Launching in GH would be worth it..

As far as a game plan goes, its not ingraved in stone but most likely work from south to north staying up on the bank and to the west..

Thanks for the input, Edge. Do you know offhand the mileage difference, I did not realize it was that much...I hate driving to GH, too, much nicer drive for me up 195 to the Cape.

If it is that noticeable, I will definitely bite the bullet and drive to GH....Of course I plan on burnin and turnin to put the new ride through its paces, so it will be an expensive day regardless, LOL...

Dom,

It's 28 miles just to the SW corner from Sandwich. Another 10 to the middle bank and another 10 to the NWC.

So from Sandwich to NWC is 40 miles.

Here are distances from your other options form the south
GH to SWC = 16
GH to Middle = 23
GH to NWC = 25

The best place to LAUNCH from is Scituate

Scituate to SWC = 19
Scituate to Middle = 22
Scituate to NWC = 19

Plymouth is pretty close to the Sandwich numbers

Plymouth to SWC = 25
Plymouth to Middle = 33
Plymouth to NWC = 36

Hope this helps

Mike

Last year the weather was great all day!!! The fishing was great too!!!

Mcleaves, where is the Scituate ramp? Is it that ramp in the center of town? How is the parking there?

Usually launch from GH, but went out of Plymouth last year and it was SA-WEET!!!! Tons of parking......

Any body planning on hitting the inshore humps on the way out? A couple years ago we had a limit of Fish 9nm out of GH..........

On The Edge, I'll be at Capt. Stew's seminar too........
