Clams

Now, aren't you glad you brought the clams. If the cod were coughing up sand eels you were in the right area. When cod are full of eels there are usually many around and they may be in small pile only a 100' away. The trick is trying to find them and stay on top of them.

I blew off today and we will see what the rest of the weekend brings, the Saturday forecast has been going back and forth.

Yeah but still no Haddock for me Dave! The other boat was was using clams since they forgot their jigs! Figured we'd run close together that way for a while and see what was biting what. So they got the haddock. But you were right!

We are going to make an effort tomorrow based on how bad Sunday looks. Shucking duty starts in 10 minutes
