Yup, that's right....FREE.

- Works perfect!

Here's the scoop. Bought the washer about 6 or 7 years ago (Wickford Appliance). Worked awesome the whole time. About a month after we moved (this summer) into the new house it started making a clicking noise while agitating occasionally. I played around with the control, then it would work again......it spins out perfect, never a problem, only happens during agitation mode.

Checked with Wickford Appliance on parts......if it is the Control that needs replacement she said it costs about $90 for that part. If it's the WORST CASE, and is the drive motor, that part is about $180.

The washer is in great shape overall, really, looks like new! I'm sure someone would want to fix it!

The DRYER......works perfect! I replaced the heating element in it already a few years ago, was a $40 part that was IN STOCK at Appliance Parts in Providence LOL. This was my mother-in-law's from their first house in 1971! (We had the matching washer until the transmission went and we bought the above washer).
