704Z bail-less conversion kit

Hello,

I have checked around online for a 704Z bail-less conversion kit and found one site that said they sold them but they are out of stock. Anyone know where they are available?

Thank You

Ken

I had to do some "homework" to find these kits....I bought the last 2 from Joe Mollica at Snug Harbor, and they were in OLD envelopes, so have been hanging around a while LOL.

I heard Penn has them backordered, and I'll bet it is a marketing thing.

Look hard for them and buy when you find them, they are now rare LOL.

What are the advantages of the bailless conversion?? Heard about it before, but never really paid any attention. Must be something important if VSs come without bails

Thanks

No more bail to snap closed on ya, causing you to lose countless $$$$ in plugs/jigs/etc

Also, less moving hardware to fail (see above LOL).......

Didn't take me long to get used to it.......

Now, for live-lining bait, I suppose it may be a little troublesome, at least so i hear, but I don't use my spinners for that. That's when I break out the Avet

Worth a try at ~$12/each

I like it so far, it's like having a new reel (rather than one that always leaves you cringing waiting for the snap )

Plus I noticed she casts a little better.......but maybe that's me knowing I can give it more of a whip without having the bail close LOLOL
