Anyone fishing the red power pro?

Just wondering if anyone has tried the new red power pro. I was looking at it and thought I would give it a shot. In the murky LIS I really do not think it matters much in 40' of water.

I have been using it for drift fishing with three-way rigs. Have caught just as well with it as with the green power-pro.

not the REDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD color. LOL

Actually red turns black at a depth of approx 11' to 12'.

Watch out for the red dye on your white boat cushions. It is a real pain to clean .Been there done that.

I've been sing itfor this fishing season and it has been wet many times, the color is still red so far. I seem to have caught as much with it a with another color but it was something different and it was easier to buy new when I told the wife it catches more!
I have al the reels lined with power-pro and haven't had any problems lately.
I did have a problem a few years back now withthe line breaking due to abrasion caused from the boat vibrations being transmittied through the top as the rod was in the holders on the hard top.
I leave the plug/lure attached still but do not leave the line as tight and have had no further problems.

Have it on one of my AVET SX reels. Was using it and green PP today, and they both caught equally poor. LOL. Doesn't seem to make any difference at all, as that colore has produced the same as the green all season, for multiple species.

red power pro turns pink after a couple of uses. I use the yellow power pro on all my inshore stuff and i found it holds up very well and the fish do not mind it a bit. The water i fish is very skinny some times three feet of water at times.

Thanks guys for the imput. There seems to be a few good ebay deals on the large spools of red. I will try it.

Maybe the red will help me in my search for the 50 incher. So far this year I am 7 inches short of that goal.
