| Deep Drop Fishing Guys, I plan on doing some Tile fishing and would like some advise on what reel would work best. I researched electric reels, obviously a great way to go, but very expensive. What non-electric reel would you recommend for this type of fishing? Keep in mind 2 pounds of lead and 600+ feet of water. Thanks, JC |

| I think you want to go electric reel. It is definitely worth the extra money. When the fishing is slow and you want to check your bait, its going to be slow and tiring. I would go with the Daiwa Saltiga 30 though. Great reel, never had a problem with it. ![]() ![]() ![]() What are you going to do with 2 pounds of lead? ![]()

| I got a precision auto reel from: Electric Fishing Reels, Electric Reels, Deep Drop Fishing Reels, Deep Sea Electric Fishing Reel It's much quieter than the electamate and I think it's built better. Check out that page. James the owner is great to deal with. Armand |
