Hi, Here is some Lamiglas info that has changed since Oct. 2007. Some of this info is in the early 2007/2008 blank catalog and is now obsolete. Lami came out with a new class of rods, Triflex Graphite Inshore rods. I am always interested in cross referencing the blanks as I build on many Lamis. This is a beefed up series for tog, stripers and the bigger fish. This series of rods was tested by Lamiglass and local fishermen in the NY Bight. So right away I special order a couple of blanks to play with. I now own the TF 8420 and the TF 8450. Well these 2 models are now obsolete. They have been replaced by the TF 8430 , TF 8440 and GTF 841M. Ha, I just ordered the TF 8430 and TF 8440. Wouldn't you think I would learn??? Here is the latest cross ref info from Lami today. Factory rod Blank TFX 7020 CT TF 8430 TFX 7030 CT TF 8440 TFX 7040 CT GTF 841M So for you rod builders you can go to the tackle shop flex the factory rod and see if it interests you. If you have a problem getting the blanks let me know. Neil
