I looking to upgrade my Penn 115L to a two speed looking at a Shimano TLD50IILRSA or Tica in the same class, anybody use Tica reels good or bad? This reel will be used for stand up tuna/sword fishing, mostly on party limited party boat trips and some private canyon trips with a buddy. Any help is appreciated | ||

| I am personally all about Shimano. I mainly use Shimano Tiagra's but have used the TLD's many times and love them also they are a tough reel. I reluctently just sold a TLD50IIA on here a couple of weeks ago. I am still hating myself for having to sell it. The TLD's are a great reel for the $ you pay.As for the Tica's I have never used one so I can not comment on them. | ||
