| Plug, While your facts can't be argued, don't you think that policy holds over from one regime to the other, thereby impacting budget status'? I won't argue that ol' Clinton managed this country well, however, he was a foreign affairs knuckle head, and nearly destroyed our military (literally). I find it so ironic that people still banter the partisan rhetoric. Both parties are insanely ridiculous. Either touting far left or far right malarchy. Moderacy is the solution, not extemism. We should take lessons from those that we hunt (extremist foreign entities) and realize that our own extremist stances and viewpoints make our government really no better than those we persecute. There is place for everything, and even being a died in the wool Republican, I think President Bush is nothing more than a talking chimpanzee. Far and away, one of the worst Commanding Officer's this country has ever had (egomaniacal zealot). Now Reagan had his flaws, but he was no slouch in the first 4 years. You reference JFK and Clinton, but what about LBJ & Carter? How did we fare under their leadership? They were in the overall long line of idiots, including Nixon & Ford. The bottom line is that our government is a catastrophe, basing itself on selfish desires, and neglecting this country. Look how many jobs have been forced out of the USA. This is a conglomeration of the idiocy of the last 35+ years of politics and policy, all parties having significant inputs. | ||

| I want to preface these remarks by saying that this isn't personal. This is simply a thread that I view as a place where people can express their personal views on politics. Nothing is intended as an insult and I hope the feeling will be mutual. Now, here is a question. Does anyone remember who Randy Shughart and Gary Gordon were? Here is a second question. Does someone who makes $200,000.00 per year pay more in taxes than someone who makes $60,000.00 per year? | ||

| That is correct, each man won the Congressional Medal of Honor in Mogadishu. At the medal ceremony, Shughart's Father told Clinton he wasn't fit to be commander in chief. His son and Gordon died after jumping out of a helicopter and going to protect the injured men who went down on one of the helicopters that was shot down. After exhausting their ammunition in a very long firefight they were killed. If American armor had been present in Mogadishu their sacrifice would not have been necessary. The armor would have been able to get to the crash sites very quickly. The commander on the scene had specifically requested armor and CLINTON had specifically denied the request. We didn't even have the strength to go recover our dead. Because of his decisions, we had to watch as our dead men were dragged around the streets of Mogadishu. This is all objective fact. I guess this history major knows some history. It can also be argued that Bill was not fit to be commander in chief because he didn't even serve in the National Guard. He was too busy protesting Johnson's war to serve. While George was a drunk, Bill never inhaled you know. | ||

| Absolutely Disgusting!!!! I believe that Pres. Clinton & Samuel Berger also had intelligence on Bin Laden's where abouts and his preliminary plans back in the 90's and neglected to do anything with it or about it.

| This I didn't know. The billing records were "found" a week after the Statute of Limitations ran. These people just have no shame. Elusive Papers of Law Firm Are Found at White House - New York Times | ||
