o.k. i'm leaning towards shafers too for future seasons. don't want to be slipped in a construction site or (even worse) deal with wealthy new yorkers who will be able to pay 1.5 million for half a freaking duplex!

Actually, no, the pending construction and a few other considerations scared me away.

As for liberals, female or otherwise, I have nothing against anyone. I have issues with policy platforms, facts, and eny extremist political stances.

Who says Bill cannot be president again! After 12 years, it wipes the slate clean and he can run again as if he never was president. I almost fell off the couch when some political expert on a TV talk show explained that loophole. So he has four more years to go and then here he comes again. No wonder he has been bad mouthing his wife lately, she just might get in his way down the line. It is a good thing we have our fishing to fall back on as politics can drive one nuts.

Apparently, a US president cannot run for more than two consecutive terms. However, after a period of 12 years has passed, he then becomes eligible to run for office again. So far, this loophole has never been exploited because of age or the public would probably have been fed up enough with the guy after eight years. In this case, Bill started out pretty young and I think there are idiots out their that might still support him. He was a horrible president, but one could make a decent argument that Bush was far worse. I agree with 74 in that McCain appears to be unstable and even worse a stooge. Mike Savage stated that McCain was an incompetent wartime pilot as well. He did get shot down which is how he was caught, but that was the third plane he had damaged. The first two planes he did them in without help from anybody. I think this time around I have to cast my vote for McCain, and it sickens me as I know he is going to be a loser, but what other choice do I have other than staying home. Actually, I just might stay home; it would give me bad feeling in my gut to vote for any of the front runners. The best I can hope for is that the togs will be running on election day.
