What have you got to say about the topic of: "Great job!". Here's how is started: "Just heard that the last Congress worked 103 days. Not bad for $175,000 a year. "

| Great job! Just heard that the last Congress worked 103 days. Not bad for $175,000 a year. I'll bet all you taxpayers do that, too. There ought to be a crime called taxpayer abuse. What a pack of charlatans, liars and thieves! Also, the FBI announced that "public corruption" had increased 30% in the last 5 years. Must be they can't scrape by on that 175! |

| Don't get me started. I am a die hard blue blood Republican, but the recent few years have really forced me into moderacy. I'll never be a Dem, but the current Republican party in power is a bit too much into the aggregation of Church and State, amongst many other inane and out of context "values". Very annoying. Our current President reminds me of a talking Chimpanzee (and I voted for him twice). The bulk of the Senators and Representatives on the (R) side of the fence are pissing me off, so much so, that I actually voted for some (D) candidates last month in the hopes of restoring some balance. AARRGH !! is all I can say. I am very tired of voting for the lesser of 2 evils for office, and I fear the 2008 election will be no different. The Dems have to put up a strong candidate, and it cannot be ol' Hillary (or they'll lose). The Republicans have to have a hard exit strategy defined for Iraq & Afghanistan, soon, to have any chance, and will need a hard moderate candidate. Time will tell, but they don't work enough, and bicker far too much. |

Couldn't agree more. It's a sad state of affairs when you feel your interests aren't going to be met by either side. I's love an independent minded person or people to take the center and give the salute to both sides. Take some of the best from both parties and stop only representing Oil companies and abortion clinics. Armand | |

| This past election was a wake up call for politicians. Not that i think it'll change things much, neither party has any real interest in making america better for the people.Honesty has been replaced by political correctness, doing whats right for the country has been replaced by politicians dancing around the issues hoping they don't offend certain groups.Illegal immigrants,HUGE problem, health insurance, that so called "war" i could go on all day. It all boils down to F@#% me once shame on you,F@#% me twice shame on me.
