I use the term "dopes" lightly........you are likely well versed in the building green issues as well. I'd much rather see someone edumacated on "green" issues promoting it than most of the un-edumacated dopes out there.......

I was on a rant about hybrid cars, I guess I wasn't clear on how my comment was directed.

I get aggravated at the sheer numbers of lemmings out there that ARE CLEARLY NOT edumacated.....but run around preaching "green", and in so many cases make themselves out to be dopes to those "in the know".

BUT....it's human nature....look at your average voter today if you wanna laugh They believ what they receive in mass emailings and go to the polls with that info at heart LOL

Seriously, man, no offense intended, it's just my "style", but those that know me can tell you I mean no harm

Heck, we don't have garbage pickup in my town, and I have to take my own shit to the town dump myself. If you only knew the shit I go thru to make sure I recycle whatever I can at each and every "bin" at the dump, you'd realize I'm not at "the other end" of the spectrum LOL.

Gman, we differ in opinion, but there is no one I know of who should insult a man who is a "Nationalist" (one who believes in nationalism or loyalty and devotion to ones country and in your case it extends even further.) We know exactly where you stand, and that you will roll up your sleeves and do what you believe is right. You move in a direction that does you proud, and you are a man of conviction. Those whom who you believe are attempting to insult you have probably just ran out of gas somewhat in trying to present ideas in this thread and obviously meant no harm. Keep in mind that those who are really obnoxious and insulting are no longer with us. Possum sits in the background monitoring this thread; there is a "banned" indicated under one of the user's names in this tread that stepped over Possum's threshold.
I wish that I could feel that if just one of the current front running presidential candidates had your convictions and honesty; I would vote for him/her in a minute.

I understand your point and agree, thanks you. Its OK for us all to agree to disagree, I wouldnt push my feelings on someone else because thats not me, however in the spirit of conversation there are always a million different views that can be heard.

My conviction & loyalty is to my wife & kids regardless of country, politics and creed. Asa matter of fact I hate the magority of what this country does and spends while we have all these issues here in our own country.

I teach my sons to stand up and be heard, to make a positive impact on others and to lead by example. Thats it. I want them to grow up in a better place that what we live in now. That may be unrealistic but I will give them every shot I can so at the end of the day, regardless of the outcome, we left our mark.

I realize now that Eric meant that in a blanket statement and maybe I overreacted but there have been some comments in this thread that were just absurd IMHO
