Holy cow.... this is amazing - and if you want to compare with any other years, you can go to the website which shows tax info from 1913 to the present.

Taxes...Whether Democrat or a Republican, you will find these statistics enlightening and amazing.

Single making 30K - tax $8,400 Single making 30K - tax $4,500

Single making 50K - tax $14,000 Single making 50K - tax $12,500

Single making 75K - tax $23,250 Single making 75K - tax $18,750

Married making 60K - tax $16,800 Married making 60K- tax $9,000

Married making 75K - tax $21,000 Married making 75K - tax $18,750

It is amazing how many people that fall into the categories above think Bush is screwing them and Bill Clinton was the greatest President ever. If Obama or Hillary are elected, they both say they will repeal the Bush tax cuts and a good portion of the people that fall into the categories above can't wait for it to happen. This is like the movie The Sting with Paul Newman; you scam somebody out of some money and they don't even know what happened

Roy, don't let anyone fool you. That's how the budget was balanced under Billy Bob Clinton...........by screwing small business, the working class, and military cuts........

All this instead of looking at welfare, and other "Hand Out" programs for those whom choose to do nothing in life except wait for the next "free check"

Way too many "cake jobs" are created to police these programs so they screw the guy who gets up a 5:30 AM, heads to work, does his 9-12 hr shift, day after day..........

The public thinking it was all good then was purely a false sense of security.......

If you folks think that just because you are paying less taxes everything is just a ok,think again.Do you really believe that the government can run on less money? Can you run on less money then you could last year or the year before? These tax breaks cost us more in the long run. Hey I don't want to pay any more taxes then I have to but lets be real. We pay one way or the other. Any taxes you think you have saved are now going in the fuel tank, the car and at home. Are you putting more money in the bank? 401K? Your kids will pay the price for this mess.

Stormy C, if I ran my household budget the way the government runs this country, I would be living in tent, and wiping my ass with leaves. Give me a break, yes the government does need funds to operate, but where is it written that they have to be so wasteful and fund programs that went no where for years. Should we start with "head start" (a worthless program that channels money to useless high paid teachers with the end result that two years after the students leave the program they are right back where everyone else is.) How about the one "A mind is a terrible thing to waste"; somebody ought to wake these idiots up and inform them that a wasted college education is worse. What about "let's leave no child behind". Who is kidding who, what they are really saying "let no child get ahead". For every buck spent on gifted children, ten dollars are spent for learning disabled children. Just who do you think is going to be the scientists, the mathematicians, the doctors, the engineers, and the professionals who are going to make this country a better place for all of us? Every one of these programs are designed not to help the children, but to create high paying jobs for teachers that do not have mental capability of teaching gifted children. Getting away from kids, one of my pet peeves is the Salmon Restoration Program. We have been funding this program for more than forty years, so where are the Salmon? These lists go on forever. For every legitimate program, they seem to come up with 10 useless and expensive ones. Some of these programs are so out of whack it is sickening. One of the biggest screwing we take is for the funding that goes for the Endowment Of the Arts. These idiots put a turd in a bottle, call it art, put it on display, and then we have our tax dollars channeled to these sick morons. What has always had me puzzled is just how much does it take to run a government. Whatever the government gets in taxes, they always need more. Give a government unlimited power to tax, and you have given them unlimited power to destroy your country.

Go after Welfare.......that funnel is full no matter what happens in the economy or to your job or mine.

It's a guaranteed check every month period. For what........doing absolutely nothing!!! Mention this and congress shy's away...why?? because so many jobs have been created to police these hand outs, and they are jobs for friends, of friends, of friends..........

sit home making babies, watching Jerry Springer, and collecting a check!!! life is good!! When will this country ever wake up??? In the mean time your kid can't mention God in school, even though it's printed on every freakin dollar you earn........absolutely discusting.......and now we're gonna have a Muslim for president!!! WTF!!!

It shouldn't matter anyway since our First Amendment supports the separation of church and state.

What if McCain's middle name was Adolf, would that matter??

Personally for me yes, my wifes family lived the Nazi nightmare, her great grandfather was executed by Adolph's regime on speculation that he was an American spy.......... horrible experience for the family.........the stories will make your hair stand up!!

Anyone watching the debate that's on now? Thoughts?
