I do like his mettle, for sure. He did not waver once, and that media jockey asked him some leading questions, for sure. Will he have enough time to garner enough headway with the populus to get any where though?

I agree, it will surely weaken America if any type of civil unrest occurs....a house divided against itself cannot stand either though. We are certianly divided in many, many ways in this country today. Just look at how pathetically differed yet exactly the same the Block Island-partisan system is right now.

Many times in history, a good fight beween family members leads to stronger, more directed government in the future. Look at the US after the civil war....we wentered one of the greatest boons this society has ever seen....until the depression. We have never really fully recovered from that point on, we just steamrolled right along leading to the plight we are in today.

I just don't see any current or near future politician, no matter what party or independent group they represent, doing anything that could possibly right the many wrongs prevalent here in America today.

It sure would be nice to enjoy a brief respite before it alls go back to shit again though. He would have my vote, for sure.

Unfortunately the way I see it, laws of physics and nature dictate that once something is so totally screwed up, it is much easier and less harmful to the big picture to have it cleansed and start over.....

i try putting "b i "-partisan in the text above, and everytime I submit it it goes back to Block Island- system....what the hell is that all about, LOL....

Huckabee is climbing in the polls and is likely to take the primaries in Florida and South Carolina... if he does, he may get the momentum necessary to lead to the nomination. I think that you will be hearing much more about this candidate in the coming days and weeks.

This guy has what it takes to pull up the Spirit of our Nation, in fact, I think there will be much more press coming on this soon! I think you're gonna see MAJOR changes toward this coming election, as this candidate is picking up steam BIG TIME...

I'm actually getting excited about the elections!

He is also leading the primaries for Texas...

I predict that there will be some major changes in the race once Huckabee sews up the Republican nomination. As it appears, it's on its way toward actually happening!

He will be touted as the new Reagan for leading our troubled Nation.

I may be wrong about this, but I doubt it...

Is that the drink till you don't remember system? I thought Capt. Dom had some inside info on the political state of Block Island. Must be something Possum set up to keep us from talking about Block Island-sexuals.
