Grilled Striped Bass w/ Salsa

I can't tell you just how good this was. You gotta try it to believe it. The first pic is of the fish in the marinade. The second picture is of the finished product. Here is the link to the recipe.

FYI, skip the broiler, we did all the veggies on the grill, including the garlic which we wrapped in a foil ball and threw on. We also skipped the food processor and just chopped the veggies after they came off the grill and cooled a little bit. We also skipped cooking the fish whole and just wrapped the steaks in the collard greens.

look down a few recipes.....
mango salsa is fabulous over grilled striper!!!

i make my mango salsa a little on the warm side with hot peppers added....

try marinating slices of eggplant then grill till just fork soft

top with grilled striper fillet.....smother with mango salsa!

very tropical treat and a nice way to enjoy our beloved stripers!

salsa very easy. dice ripe mango, green peppers, onions, hot peps, and tomatoes...maybe yellow peppers for more color..all till you get the flavor that suits you. no wrong way to do it

cheers.....mick

Bruschetta

As a similar, yet different type suggestion, try bruschetta....

Baked, grilled, broiled.... it all works.

mango Salsa makes everything great

We make a mango salsa then chill it ice cold in the fridge

Pan sear a piece of bass or whatever white meat you have

serve with cold salsa below and top with the meat...

Fresh hot fillet and icey cold salsa ...gets the motor running and yes a bit of not too much hot pepper fresh only please
