Poor Mans Lobster

Poor Mans Lobster

Tastes like the real stuff

2 lbs frozen cod-striper-other white fish
1 qt water
1 bay leaf
1 TBLS onion, chopped
1 TBLS carrot, chopped
1 1/2 TBLS salt
1/4 teas whole black pepper
2 TBLS vinegar
1 TBLS celery, chopped

Boil water, vinegar, spices and veggies for 10 minutes until broth is well flavored. Add frozen or partially thawed fish. Let simmer (do not boil) until the fish is firm - - about 12 -15 minutes. Remove fish from the broth with a slotted spoon. Garnish with parsley and lemon. Serve with melted butter
Hope you like it

BOB & MAG I have no Idea how I picked these reciepes .Just by ingredients I like I guess .The wife cooked it up this afternoon and once again it was excellent. I must have missed my calling .I can't say one fish was better than the other so eat what you have and enjoy.
