I just finished Dinner and I might-as-well share the recipe with you guys. Take the Tautog Fillet and slice it into 1" thick slices. Make 3 bows: 1st bowl with 1/2 cup white flour mixed with 1 teaspoon of Old Bay Seasoning. 2nd bowl with 1 egg mixed with 1/4 cup milk. 3rd bowl 1/2 cup bread crumbs mixed with 1 tsp parsley and some black pepper. Dip the the fish in the flour shake off access and then submerge them in the egg wash and dredge them in the bread crumbs. Fry them in 1/4 inch of vegetable oil until browned then turn. Serve with a dash of lemon or Tartar sauce. Yum Yum. Who said we have to settle for the fish sticks in the Frozen food section? Armand | ||
