Wink Galapagos Isla San Cristobal

FINALLY GOT NEW BOAT PAPERWORK IN ORDER,
As usual the politics of failed intimidation in galapagos have failed again, will it ever end ,we have traveled from the edges of insanity to downright stupidity, but we have prevailed, new rig is more than I expected , fishes like it belongs on the ocean and even looks good, will post pics as soon as I can ,fishing has been way off, lots of west wind and rain , we won 3rd in torneo d galapaganian lanchas with 25 lb yellofin 28 lb won it, it was rough as snot and not one marlin was caught,Jaime Ortiz was angler with his son Jaime Daniel who is a little boy with the makings of a champ, not one complaint from him all day in weather that was not nice, and in afternoon he asked his dad if he could have a beer and that cracked everybody up, in six days of fishing with 2 groups we caught and released 6 bigg stripeys one pushing the 300 lb mark. bait is just starting to show up and I expect it will pick up dramatically , water temp changes have been extreme, 82 to 85 in less than a mile and the massive plankton blooms have been non existent, basically same reports from other 3 boats. I was awarded a medal with an ecuadorian flag ribbon by the mayor of Santa Cruz, galapagos during the tournament, this was first time for me in these islands to win anything and it meant a lot more to me than other things I have won in the world, will post more as soon as it happens. TIGHT LINES TO ALL
