Folks, the hype is true. My wife and I fished with Captain Allan Starr 5/15 and 5/17. We saw over 150 striped marlin and caught six. All the fish we caught were large 200-300+ pounds. We have charted in Thailand, Australia, and Costa Rica. The Galapagos trip with Allan was the best fishing and the most fun we've ever had offshore. The captain was great, and the crew was happy to let us hook (or more often, not hook) or own fish. The whole Galapagos experience was even better than I could have imagined. If you have a taste for adventure and nature at its best, go now! Otherwise, stay home and keep demand low so I can afford to go back. | ||
