The Elliott Close family recently completed three days of sailfishing with Capt. Chris Sheeder aboard the Cañaso and Release. The first day was rather slow with two sails released. The second day showed more promise, with 18 sails raised, 12 hooked and 7 released plus a blue marlin around 350-lbs. Their third day was the charmer - 18 sails released and two blues. They stayed at Casa Vieja Lodge in Pto. San Jose.
