In the last 4 days we have seen on the surface at least 400 striped marlins attacking balls of sardines. today we raised 21 fish caught 2 one on fly,one fish over 300 lbs on 50 lb,massive krill hatch fueling the action. yesterday May 23 we raised 26 fish had 7 bites and caught one on fly, today May 24 marked a first for Mark Hatter from fly fishing in salt water magazine. caught his first stripey on 20 lb tippet ,fish about 150 , he donned his dive gear and photographed the big fish that gerd ellenbrook of Venezuela caught. While he was in water whole school of nasty bigg sharks came up to investigate what was going on and he left the water immediately.
