Make a Wish Tuna Event

In an earlier thread i told you about the Make-A-Wish Tuna Challenge in San Diego, California, and this issue we can't wait to tell you how great it went! Redrum raised more money at auction than any other sponsor. Over $12,000 was raised for a very worthy cause.
The initial plan was to auction off a trip for four to Cabo for three days of fishing, with airfare and accommodations included. The trip was very well received by the participants and Make-A-Wish knew they would have no problem finding a bidder. The problem was there were three parties interested in the trip and neither party wanted to lose such a great opportunity. Team Redrum then made the decision to give away three trips instead of one. Make-A-Wish was very excited about the offer as were the three winning bidders; Dave Pirie, Cliff Moore and, Jimmie Dixon. Thank you very much gentlemen for your generous donation.
After the auction, John Donovan from Team Redrum was interviewed by Captain Ron Baker and Ed Zieralski of the All Outdoors Radio Network. The show aired live on KCBQ 1170 AM in San Diego, California. The interview went so well that show producers asked John to return again the following week.
The topics discussed include a history of Cabo San Lucas and it's growth into a major sportfishing destination, fishing techniques used in Cabo, upcoming tournaments and of course Redrum Sportfishing. Redrum now has a radio home as the guys have asked John to come back from time to time to talk about Redrum and the bite in Cabo. For those of you in San Diego you can listen from 4- 6p.m. Sunday nights; the rest of us can listen on the Web at alloutdoorsradio.com.
