Lobstah new report Jurassic park

Hello out there,

We have just finished fishing Herb Nussbaum group from Yakima, Washington and what a 3 days it has been ,El NINO has been affecting the fishing but I personally feel it has turned around , bait has showed up in droves plankton coverage is back to normal and thousands of stormy petrels are picking at it, Manta rays as far as eye can see. Oh yeah the fishing , first day after a late start due to rum front settling in, had 45 bites and caught and released UNHARMED 28 striped marlins up to 250 to 3oo lbs on 50 lb and 30 lb. plus half dozen 40 lb bigeyes. 2nd day first national bank witnessed orcas killing sea lions and playing catch with them, awesome sight when one bull killer got to close I decided to pull plug on sightseeing ,by close I mean 10 ft from boat eyeballing everyone in pit while swimming on its side, guess it would make terrific video orcas playing catch with humans. Yeah I know we got to close, NO, they got close to us we were stopped. This day it was slower 35 bites and only caught 14, stripeys have an uncanny habit of coming unglued possibly because of the extremely long lower jaw, but this is lure fishing, with bait and switch much more positive hook up with circle hooks, only one problem cannot get bait here. 3rd day trucked to banco noventa 60 miles from house bigeyes slam dunking everything in site, we kept 3 small ones and released a dozen up to 100 lbs. 3 blue merlins got in the way and we caught and released one about 400lbs, all blue ones we saw were over 300lbs. Say tuned should have some real good stuff to post plus pics if I can ever get them to load. Regards to all.
