Wink Report from Jurassic Park

Hello all,
"BLUE" has just finished 1 wk of intense frustrating punishment,by over 1000 striped marlins,No we did not catch that many , but to see schools of marlin feeding on surface within 10 ft of boat is something to behold. Jim Gallagher of Stuart,Fl witnessed it firsthand,so did Jeff Mcfadden and others, we caught 6 or 7 on the fly 20llb tippet ,and released scores of others on 50 lb standup,it is a sight to behold to have a 200 lb marlin slashing in bait within 3 ft of the boat.Gerd Ellenbrook had notable catch of one full grown stripey approx 325 on standup tackle. You would question why so little a return, but what would you rather eat a hot dog or a steak, we were trying to feed them hot dogs and they were eating steak,(sardines) boobies pounding vertically like winged stilletos, albatross grabbing bait only to have magnificent frigate steal it from them,Sea lions swilling in bait with frigate birds actually pecking them to distract them from bait and to top it all off dozens of striped marlins lit up like electric blue roman candles ripping into the bait at Mach 1. Again this is Strictly a CATCH and RELEASE fishery only. We adhere to this policy religiously, crew of "BLUE" is dedicated to the conservation of this fishery for all to see for generations to come, hopefully. Far as Blacks and blues we have a few blue ones here all full grown ,blacks forget it. This is a year round fishery and place is safest place you will ever visit in South America. Photos to follow email is bosn_mate_allan_starr@hotmail.com. Anyone who loves billfishing Has to see this before they depart this earth for the great tide rip in the sky,it might be as good but I doubt it. TIGHT LINES TO ALL
