Thumbs down 3 day skunk

Fished the local spots and ended up with elskunko. Couldn't even find any Bunker...ehhhm...Chuck....couch ...cough...where I always score at least enough to make a night of it. I'll blame it on the storm churning everything up. Since all I caught was leaves and sea weed.

Thames stripers

Got this e mail from a friend in conn, thought i'd pass it on

Launched under the Gold Star Bridge in NL this AM, ventured down to area off Osprey Beach, then west to Waterford and Harkness Beaches. FAC, birds
working over school fish in many spots, trolling and flicking the flies,
constant action on the dropping tide. First of the flood west side of
the
river entrance found clouds of birds over school fish chasing p-nut
bunker
from 3 to 5" in length, jigs, frames, flies all worked. Surface temps
ranged
from 49F - 52F, water clarity fair, ended the day with 104 stripers T/R
for the ALS.
Just a hunch, but the best is yet to come.....
