before the storm

took a ride to the thames river in norwich. weather was nice and i had some new gear that was screamin' to get tried out. there was maybe thirty guys in the harbor thowin' cocahoe minnows and other small stuff catchin lots off schoolies up to 18". i got a lot of second looks me bein out there with a nine foot rod and a 7" sluggo. did manage one striper 24" after many casts that drew more attention than i did.'
felt good to get my feet wet.
