looking for spear fishing gear.

just wondering if anyone could recommend a good place to pick up some spear fishing gear? (wetsuit, flippers, spears and spear gun, ect....)

One of our boys does a little scuba diving and spear fishing. I'll ask him if he can suggest some places. We'll see him over the weekend.

Narragansett Pier Dive SHop to try things on and check sizes.


Then buy most of it on-line to save some cash.

Guns can get expensive so I wouldn't go crazy but stay with a shorter gun for shooting around rocks for blackfish etc. Bigger & More power for striped bass. (75-90 cm for blacks, 90-110cm for bass)

P.G. dive in Newton ma has some great scuba gear, at the end of every season they sell off the rental gear they used during the summer, so you get practically new gear for way less. they dont really have much in the way of spears though
