| Mass Report The Bait Shack in Orleans reported three keepers taken over the long holiday weekend - two from CCBay and one in Wellfleet Harbor. Die hard's still on the beach just about every day report the bass are still along the backside beaches - especially around Nauset Inlet. Stripers and a small Bluefish (that must have been lost) at Herring Cove as of yesterday. Also, bass in the Chase Garden Creek estuary south of Bass Hole on the fly rod. Dan

| Herring ?? Well,it's the end of March now.Has anyone heard reports of herring in all the usual early spring places ?? |

| I've been getting info from a VERY reliable source that a well known river in Conn. is red hot right now,fish up to 33" taken late last week
