Cool, thanks for all the info guys. I talked the permit folks last year and they told me all the gear that's required. I see most of you used jeeps. Any problems for a full size Bronco 1995? I just have the stock tires on it which are 30X9.5, but I'd really like to get 31X10.5X15 size with rims, so if anyone knows of some available, please let me know.

thanks again.

I actually saw very few Jeeps when I was out there. Most people had full size vehicles. There were some Jeep Cherokees out there though. I don't think you can go wrong with a Bronco. There are some really nice 3/4 ton and 1 ton modified trucks out there carrying slide in campers. Flotation is the key. You need to ride on top of the sand. You may be able to fit the 31's on stock rims. I had them on my stock rims. I think you can put them on 7.5" wide rims. I had 15x 7.5 steel and then 15 x 8" aluminum later on.

I'm pretty sure that spot is the Weekapaug Breachway. It is adjacent to the Misquamicut beach area. I would say I'm 99.9% sure. I think someone mentioned the same thing earlier so it probably is Weekapaug.
