schoolies

Last couple of days I've finally gotten to do a little fishing with a couple guys from the nursery I manage. Fished twice in the past year, yesterday and the day before.

The guys got up before me and hit the sand bar in West Haven to dig some sand worms and Tape worms at low tide fished the morning incoming tide at the kimberley Ave bridge and hammered the schoolies between the three of us we caught and released a dozen fish up to 24". A lot of fun on the light tackle.

Fished the out going tide at a rocky point just before milford , a residential area that the neighborhood folks and the group of us that frequent the area keep clean and try to keep the crowds down to keep the local folks happy. We caught a mixed bag at this location everything from snappers , sm blacks , porgy, to small blues. A great two days of fishing with good friends.

Always willing to help with boat and bait expenses if you have an open seat for a Sunday. Saddly the only day off for me.
