ASMFC Hearing on Draft Addendum XIX to the Interstate Fishery Management Plan for Summer Flounder, Scup and Black Sea Bass.

The DEP Marine Fisheries Division is hosting a Public Hearing of the ASMFC to take public comment on Draft Addendum XIX ...

The Draft Addendum addresses three programs under the Summer Flounder, Scup and Black Sea Bass Fishery Management Plan (FMP). These are the black sea bass commercial management strategy, the summer flounder recreational allocation strategy and the stock status determination criteria for summer flounder, scup and black sea bass.

Copies of the Draft Addendum XIX can be obtained via the Commissions's wesite http://www.asmfc.org under Breaking News or by contacting the Commission as 202.289.6400

The Connecticut Hearing will be held at:

7:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2007
Clinton Town Hall, Green Room
50 East Main Street (rte. 1)
Clinton, Ct 06413

If you can't attend, you can provide
written input by 5:00p.m. on July 11, 2007
