Fishing Reg Signs??

I've got a question regarding signs on docks/ramps with fishing regs (DEP)?
Are these put up by DEP, towns or both.
Reason I'm asking is the one at the Clinton boat ramp is a bit old. It is the one with a slot limit for stripers and fluke size of 15 1/2" I belive.
Who do I contact for a updated one?
Thanks.

Those aren't the only signs that need to be put up at the Clinton Boat Ramp. Did you see that 4 women coming from Aqua the other night drive right down the ramp into the water. DOH!!!

Thanks Chuck.

Stinger,
I heard about that over the weekend. It was foggy and they asked directions. People giving directions forgot about the new stop sign at the ramp driveway and told them to turn right at the stop sign. They did and proceeded to accelerate and splash. Was told they couldn't open the doors and had to pop the hatchback open and climb out that way. One of the marina's hauled the car for them. Unbelievable!

Sorry Chuck...I'm out on sick leave for a month...

The signs are put up by the Fisheries Division. Clinton would be in the Marine District so you could give a call to the Marine Fisheries guys at Old Lyme.
I'm back to work at the end of the month so I can get the word to them then.

Ever hear anything from DEP about the signs ?
The town sure "went to town" after that car went into the drink on the ramp that foggy Friday night. Signs everywhere now that there's a boat ramp there.
