Fluke Regs

I just got the letter in the mail
Connecticut will be 5 fish and the min length remains at 18 inches
open season is April 30 to September 5 both dates included

Thanks for posting that. Looks like they went with an earlier start date so the season would be a week or so longer. At the meeting it seemed to be a 2:1 ratio for every week to add to the tail end, you'd lose two weeks on the back end.
Still more fluke than I need to bring home at a time but a lot of people won't get out as much so it's a good middle ground.
May also be enough to help keep the charters going with 5 fish limit.

5 fish is pretty fair. I was worried about the length. Last year we had alot of fish just under 18 inches. most of the time I only do fluke charter after the people get there limits on the Bass. I always keep some squid in the frezer on the boat.
