Forgive me if I am out of line, but I don't understand the point of allowing charter captains to fish if not on charter(giving them a big advantage, including having top rod men, etc.), but those who have been chartered by non-boat owners not to??

I have a charter with NBS members this weekend, would have been nice to enter it....

OK SOME CLARIFICATION please...

I was one of the first people posting about this and posted questions which noone ever commented on. I was planning on fishing this tourney but now I guess I cant becuase of the no charter rules which I dont understand

1. What about the people who dont have a boat...I can't enter now???????? Why cant I charter a boat to enter, am I not a NBS member a fisherman? My captain who I charter with about 8 times a year with is Dom.

2. What do you get for the $450 entery fee, what are the prizes, what are the elegible fish, weight requirements etc. Some more info is needed

Hey GMan. If you want to go give me a call. My phone number is on my web page. I might put a team together. I need 1 more man beside you. I'm not a charter captain but you can split all costs with me as a friend.\\

Armand

Thank you for the offer but I saw the dates and booked Dom plus now my son thinks we are in it. Now to find out that charters cant enter???????????

A charter is a charter inshore or offshore, Im sure almost all of the inshore guys have ventured offshore at some point so how do you decifer who can enter and to be honest at $450 per boat should it matter

Deep Breathing Exercise Time....

Why don't you PM Kris (nyman) or call Fords Lobster in Noank, CT?

Seriously, calling Kris Nyman at Ford's Lobster will likely be the best way to get your queries answered. I don't know the details...I'm just fishing. As for tourneys, you're right, the details are what it is all about.

Also, cleaned this up, so as not to present any potential negative view guys. I hear you loud and clear, and hopefully Kris will provide some details for you.

Hey Gman I tried asking what we get for the $450 a couple weeks back in this thread back on page 1 or 2 and I still haven't gotten an answer either.

Possum, I figured it's best to ask that question here so everyone would benifit from the answer. Obviously Cris is reading this thread and can provide a simple answer. Thanks for keeping a heads up.
