Haven't even got the boat uncovered yet but thinking about it.
Only have a few things to do on it and then into the drink.
Hope the weather changes back to warm soon and then the
water temp can start on an upward climb.
I want to go fishing!

Sunday I cleaned the snow and water off the boat cover because it was so nice out. I said to the wife " If I had a beer right now I would climb aboard and drink it" she says I'll drive down and get a 6 pac., what flavor would you like. She comes back with a 12er of Carona and we climb aboard under the cover, just thinking of being on the water or just down at the marina, and now it's snowing out. Man spring can't come fast enough.

Triple J - Thats funny. Last weekend I climbed in the boat under cover to measure for the windlass. Had to run to the garage for a pencil, whole there grabbed a cold one and a cigar and sat on the boat, under cover, enjoyed a smoke and a beer while staring at the engine just dying to start her up.

Scheduled maintanence with Atlantoc Outboard for the least week of March. So far still on schedule for the splash the 2nd weekend or April.

Maybe the water will warm up enough for some spring togs before the season closes 4/30.

you can always go for the flounder if the blacks aren't biting. last I checked it opens 4/1 for the flounder.

Winter Flounder in the mid-sound have been non-exisitant the last few years. Certainly worth a try though. Six pack, Cigar, Some sun, oh ya baby.

I manage to catch a handful every season. It just takes a lot longer than it used to

I was thinking of giving flounder a try this spring.
Last we used to was a few years ago and it was
not very productive. Just a few fish and not much action.
Beats sitting in the boat on a trailer though LOL.
I think we've all done that.

I quit fishing this year. Jim said I had to fish from the rocks because he has my boat.

I can't wait to get it back. I have too many projects to finish up and spring is coming. I have to finish running my new power cable to my fuse panel and then hook up the new lights on the t-top. I have to fix the hydraulic steering leak at the seastar cyliner. Oh yea, I have to replace my impeller also. Did I forget plugs...

I keep looking at pictures of boats and dreaming.
