My rod and gun club hold 2 game dinners every year. One is for a kids fishing derby and handy cap kids derby. We are short on venison. We need 3 to 4 deer to run this we have less than 2. I missed 2 yesterday i feel like i let the kids down. Well none the less. If you donate a whole deer i can possibly get a couple kids up to fish for the derby and get you a ticket or 2 for the dinner. Its going to a good cause. If anyone still is hunting or the freezor is full let me know. Any little bit will help. Thanks boone

Boone,
Have you contacted DEP. They might be able to help out.

I'll ask around, but most of my hunting brethren have had a HARD year here in CT. Die hard guys who spend weeks in the woods (literally) getting nothing, even in Maine (my brother spent 10 days there around Thanksgiving and saw only 2 does, and he didn't have tags for them).
