One Lucky Fawn

I received this story and pics via e-mail today
A lady found the fawn under her step (they think the doe might have been hit by a car) .. Her Ridge Back dog is helping look after it. The family named the fawn Bell. Once she has regained her strength (she was not in good shape when the family found her) they are going to send her to some friends who (in the past) raised two orphan deer and released them to the wild. Right now she is being bottle fed. Their dog (Hogan) has basically taken over. The fawn even shares his bed.

In my house it may be corn fed veal,After this past season Nah I would'nt have the nerve .A few years back I had a fawn on I-95 in Branford The mom got hit and I'd bring apples and wild rasberries to it .It was in between the highway and an on ramp.Probably an acre of land partially wooded It stayed out there for about 6 weeks every morning it would be standing there when I got there to feed it .My boss thought I was crazy but she allowed me to do it and followed me a few times to watch God Rest her soul.Well one day I went to feed the little thing that had grown to loose its spots and it was gone.It must have crossed the on ramp and made it to the water company around Lake Saltinstal because I looked to see if it had got hit by a car and never found it.Ohh by the way Deer love dunkin doughnuts jelly donghnuts
