Final Striper Run for '07

Made the last trip of the season yesterday. Fished middle ground rips from noon to five. Birds everywhere, fish stacked up 10' off the bottom. Fished 2 ounce bucktails on light tackle, largest fish went 31". There were some cows mixed in, we hooked a few but couldn't turn them.

Tide went slack and the big blues to 14lbs started chomping away. We left them biting. Next year........

Nice last run for ya, getting to hook-up often. That fat lady is definitely starting her tune.
